General Guidelines
  • All the participants (authors or non-authors) who wish to attend the symposium are first required to pay the registration fee using the SBI COLLECT link and then register by filling in the google form (links provided below).
  • Every participant who wishes to attend the symposium must register independently. No other participant can register on behalf of someone else.
  • Fee is same for both who submit the full paper and who do not submit the full paper. The fee mentioned includes GST in itself, and no additional payment beyond the specified amount is required to be paid.
  • For each accepted submission, at least one author must register by paying the full registration fee and attend the symposium to present the work. Please note that primarily, IDEAS-2024 will be hosted at IIT Roorkee. However, selected presenters will be allowed to present virtually upon request. Please mail at ideas@design.iitr.ac.in providing a valid reason for your non-presence.
  • If an author (a student or a professor) is a part of multiple accepted submissions, and he/she wishes to attend the symposium, he/she is supposed to register and pay only ONCE. But he/she shall be allowed to present ONLY ONE of the accepted submissions. The rest of the submissions are required to be presented by other co-authors. At least ONE registration is mandatory for each accepted submission. If, due to some reason, one author wishes to present more than one submission, he/she has to register for all those submissions separately.
  • Registrations done till September 15, 2024 will be considered as Early Bird registrations. Beyond that, regular registration charges will be applicable. LAST DATE TO REGISTER FOR THE SYMPOSIUM IS SEPTEMBER 30, 2024, beyond which no registrations will be accepted.

Steps to Register

    For INDIAN students/delegates:

  • 1. Go to the SBI payment link: Click here
  • 2. Select the conference code CONFR-174-DIC from the drop-down menu.
  • 3. Write ‘NA’ in Others.
  • 4. In the category, Select ‘Individual’.
  • 5. Enter Name of your institution.
  • 6. Enter your Email ID, Mobile Number, State.
  • 7. Enter the GSTN number of your institute account. (NOTE: If at a later stage, you plan to get the reimbursement of the payment you make, from your home institute, providing this GSTN number is MANDATORY. If you don’t plan to get any reimbursement from your home institute, write ‘NA’ here.)
  • 8. Enter the Registration Fee amount in INR.
  • 9. Enter ‘0’ in Other Payments.
  • 10. In the Remarks, write ‘IDEAS-2024’.
  • 11. Select 'Individual' and enter the details (Name, Mobile Number, Date of Birth and Email ID).
  • 12. Check the Terms and Conditions box.
  • 13. Enter the Captcha and click on ‘Next’.
  • 14. Verify the details and proceed to payment.
  • 15. Download the receipt.
  • 16. Fill in the Registration Google Form (MANDATORY) : Click here

    • For INTERNATIONAL students/delegates (only star marked fields required to be filled):

  • 1. Go to the Octopod payment link: Click here
  • 2. Select the conference code CONFR-174-DIC from the drop-down menu.
  • 3. Write ‘NA’ in Others.
  • 4. In the category, Select ‘Individual’.
  • 5. Enter Name of your institution.
  • 6. Enter your Email ID, Mobile Number, State. (International Students can select 'Other' in the State drop-down menu)
  • 7. Write 'NA' in GSTN.
  • 8. Enter the Registration Fee amount in USD. (Early bird fee is applicable)
  • 9. Enter ‘0’ in Other Payments.
  • 10. Click on 'Pay'. Then click on 'Make Payment'.
  • 11. Proceed to payment using Credit Card and download the receipt.
  • 12. Fill in the Registration Google Form (MANDATORY) : Click here
